At Lending Match, your privacy and data security are at the core of everything we do. We know that when you share your personal and financial information, you’re placing your trust in us — and we take that responsibility seriously.
We follow strict industry standards and implement robust security protocols to ensure your data stays protected from start to finish. Our platform uses end-to-end encryption to secure data transmission, firewalled servers to safeguard storage, and regular security audits to stay ahead of emerging threats. We also adhere to applicable federal and state data protection laws, including provisions under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
We will never sell your personal information. We only share your data with our lending partners when necessary to match you with loan offers — and only after you’ve given your consent. Even then, those partners are bound by their own strict compliance and privacy obligations.
You’re always in control. You can access, review, or request deletion of your information at any time. And if you ever have a question about how your data is used, our support team is here to help.
In short: your trust is earned, never assumed. That’s why we’ve built Lending Match with privacy-first technology, transparent practices, and a commitment to giving you the safest loan experience possible.
At Lending Match, we believe transparency should come standard. That’s why we provide clear, straightforward disclosures for every loan product we match you with. Before you accept any offer, you’ll see exactly what it includes — rates, terms, fees, and repayment details — with no fine print games or surprise conditions.
We work exclusively with lending partners who are held to high standards and are fully compliant with federal and state regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA). Every offer you see is presented with all required disclosures, helping you make a confident, informed decision.
You’ll never be rushed, pressured, or misled. Our job is to match you with the right options — yours is to choose the one that fits best. Simple, clear, and honest: that’s how lending should work.

Marketing fees paid by the Lender or Provider may be included in your rate, points, or term. Although some state licensing laws treat fees paid in exchange for marketing lead generation services as mortgage broker fees or origination fees, this is not the case under federal law. See the Terms of Use Agreement for details.

A chatbot is a software application that mimics human conversations in text or voice interactions on our website. It enables the communication between a human and a machine, which can take the form of messages or voice commands. The chatbot is designed to work without the assistance of a human operator. It responds to questions posed to it in natural language as if it were a real person using a combination of pre-programmed scripts, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence (“AI”). When asked a question, the chatbot will answer using the knowledge database that is currently available to it. If the conversation introduces a concept the chatbot is not programmed to understand, it will advise of its limitations. The chatbot functionality is limited to Lending Match customer service and support inquiries and may not be monitored in real time. If you use our chatbot service, we will collect and maintain any information you provide to us when using the chatbot. You are responsible for the information you share with the chatbot, and we strongly advise you not to input sensitive or personal information, such as financial or account details or other confidential information. We will also create and store a transcript of your chat interaction with us, which will be stored by our third-party service provider. Personal Loans
A Personal Loan can offer funds relatively quickly once you qualify you could have your funds within a few days to a week. A loan can be fixed for a term and rate or variable with fluctuating amount due and rate assessed, be sure to speak with your loan officer about the actual term and rate you may qualify for based on your credit history and ability to repay the loan. A personal loan can assist in paying off high-interest rate balances with one fixed term payment, so it is important that you try to obtain a fixed term and rate if your goal is to reduce your debt. Some lenders may require that you have an account with them already and for a prescribed period of time in order to qualify for better rates on their personal loan products. Lenders may charge an origination fee generally around 1% of the amount sought. Be sure to ask about all fees, costs and terms associated with each loan product. Loan amounts of $1,000 up to $50,000 are available through participating lenders; however, your state, credit history, credit score, personal financial situation, and lender underwriting criteria can impact the amount, fees, terms and rates offered. Ask your loan officer for details.
Payment Examples:*
Example 1: A $10,000 loan with a 5-year term at 13% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) would be repayable in 60 monthly installments of $228 each. The actual payment amount and year-end balance will vary based on the APR, loan amount, and term selected.
Example 2: A $25,000.00 secured personal loan financed for 60 months at an interest rate of 8.500% would yield an APR* (Annual Percentage Rate) of 8.496% and 59 monthly payments of $512.87 and 1 final payment of $513.24.

There is no guarantee you will be approved for credit or that upon approval you will qualify for the advertised rates, fees, or terms shown.

Lending Match offers this service for free and you can obtain multiple prequalification letters from lenders so you can shop for a new personal loan with an estimated budget in mind.
The pre-qualification you receive is based upon preliminary unverified information, which although deemed to be reliable, is not guaranteed to be correct. A final loan decision cannot be made until a complete application and supporting documentation is received and verified by the lender you choose to finance with. Your prequalification letter does not guarantee loan approval, nor is it an offer or commitment to make a loan at current advertised rates or terms found on Lending Match’s Website or advertisement. Interest Rates are subject to change without notice and may affect the loan amount for which you qualify. Product and services may not be available in all states.

By clicking on lenders or Debt Relief/Debt Settlement Service Providers link may take the consumer to a third-party’s website. Lending Match does NOT endorse this specific lender or Debt Relief/Debt Settlement Service Provider over another lender or debt relief/debt settlement service provider nor does Lending Match promote this lender or debt relief/debt settlement service provider is better for the consumer.

We use your personal information for the following reasons:
We will retain your personal information at least as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing listed in this Notice.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of personal information; the potential risk from deletion, unauthorized use, or disclosure of the personal information; the purpose(s) for which we use or may use the personal information; whether we can achieve the purpose(s) through other means; and applicable legal requirements.
DISCLOSURES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose each category of personal information we collect from and about you with the following categories of recipients:
SALE AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We “sell” and “share” (as such terms are defined in Applicable State Privacy Laws) certain categories of personal information to and with third parties. Additionally, as detailed in the chart above, we have “sold” and “shared” certain categories of personal information in the past twelve (12) months for analytics and “targeted advertising” purposes. Refer to the chart above for additional details. We do not “sell,” “share,” or use for “targeted advertising” the personal information of minors we know to be under the age of 18.
YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Depending on your state of residence, Applicable State Privacy Laws may provide you the rights listed below. Note that not every Applicable State Privacy Law grants each of these rights, and each Applicable State Privacy Law exempts from these rights and requests certain information we collect, including information governed by or subject to the federal GLBA. We reserve the right to honor requests only to the extent required by applicable law.
Applicable State Privacy Law may grant you the following rights:
We will not discriminate or retaliate against you if you decide to exercise your rights under Applicable State Privacy Laws.
Where permitted by law, we may elect to delete personal information as an alternative to correcting information if the deletion does not negatively impact you or you consent to the deletion.
If you are interested in exercising any right listed above, you can do so by sending an email to Lending support@LendingMatch.com with the subject line “Consumer Privacy Request” or by calling us at 1-801-963-7060. For emails, please also specify your state of residence (e.g., “California Consumer Privacy Request,” “Oregon Consumer Privacy Request”).
When you exercise the right to know, the right to request a specific list of third parties, the right to delete, or the right to correct, Applicable State Privacy Laws permit us to take steps to verify your identity. To protect consumer privacy, we will require the matching of at least three pieces of information provided with your request with information we maintain to verify that it is you making the request. Where applicable, we will use the requested information for verification purposes only. Note that we may decline a request where we are unable to verify your identity and confirm the personal information we maintain relates to you. You have the right to appeal our rejection of your request through the same mechanism by which you made the initial request. Additionally, we reserve the right to honor requests to access, correct, or delete personal information only to the extent required by applicable law.
AUTHORIZED AGENTS
You may authorize someone to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf (an “authorized agent”). An authorized agent will need to demonstrate that you have authorized them to act on your behalf, unless you have provided the agent with power of attorney pursuant to applicable probate law. Depending on the evidence provided, we may contact you to verify your identity with us or request confirmation from you that the agent is authorized to submit the request on your behalf.
EXERCISING YOUR SALE, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING OPT-OUT RIGHTS
As detailed in the chart above, we “sell” and “share” certain categories of personal information to and with third parties, including for “targeted advertising purposes” as defined in applicable law. To exercise your opt-out right, you may email us at support@LendingMatch.com with your request or click the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our website and follow the instructions.
